NEC Enterprise Systems
NEC is recognized as worldwide leader in small-to-medium business (SMB) and enterprise communications. With a revenue of over $27 billion and more than 110,00 employees worldwide, they are an extremely stable, innovative and progressive company.
The NEC communications portfolio contains a mix of premise-based systems, which may be totally IP or a combination of TDM technology together with the cloud-based UNIVERGE BLUE UCaaS solution. Whilst NEC's portfolio extends to systems with a capacity of upto 16000 extensions in a single system, Telecom Solutions & Services concentrate on the sub 100 ext market, catered for by the Univerge SL2100. Please contact us, should you have a requirement for more than 100 extensions on a single site.
The SL 2100 is an on-premise cost-effective VoIP enabled phone system. It may be wall or rack mounted and is an easily expanded solution from 4 to 112 extensions. It also has in-built voice mail and auto attendant.
The SL 2100 can function as a pure IP, TDM or mixture of both technologies When using digital or analogue extensions, existing traditional/new telephone wiring may be used, thus reducing installation costs. IP extensions, however, require Cat5e (or higher) cable infrastructure. NEC's UNIVERGE ST500 (developed for Apple iPhone, iPad and Android smart devices) allows the smart device to function as an extension on the SL 2100 and to make and receive voice and video calls. Simply connect to Wi-Fi or use your mobile data (3G/4G/5G) to handle your calls. In addition to the ST 500 mobile softphone app, the SL2100 now includes an expanded and diverse portfolio of 'InApps.' In addition to providing compelling business benefits, these built-in/on-board apps require no external PC, or server, making them highly cost-effective and reliable. (Licences may be required for some applications)
See below for a summary of these apps and links to further information.
