Philips Bosch DCN: Conference with operator Control
The addition of a PC with DCN software modules extends the operators' ability to control the conference beyond the core functions.

Where one or more operators are required to control and manage a meeting, the required DCN software modules can be installed on a PC.
A few examples of module functionality are:
- Microphone management or synoptic microphone control - used to configure and control delegate microphone status and determine microphone operating modes;
- Delegate database- used to compile a database of conference participants and specify conference - related parameters such as authorisation and language of individual microphone unit display, vote weight, groups, etc.;
- Electronic voting- used to enable parliamentary voting, multiple choice, for and against, rating, opinion poll, etc.;
- Simultaneous interpretation- used to monitor and configure the interpreter desks;
- Attendance registration- used to provide electronic access control and means of delegate registration;
- Message distribution- used to create and send messages to individuals or audience;
- Screens;
- Access control- used to authorise each delegate to use certain system functions.
The DCN system may also be controlled by a touch screen (using AMX or Crestron software) or via a synoptic panel equipped with push button control.
