Are you switched-on?

Across the UK, businesses and consumers will be progressively switched-on to a next-generation, IP-based network known as 21CN. This switch over process is due for completion in 2011. This does not mean that your current home telephone or PBX will cease to function or suddenly become obsolete. It is the network that is being upgraded, not the cables between your local exchange & your home or office.The network equipment has been designed & tested to ensure that it matches the existing operating criteria for the customer interface. Whereas there will be a break in service, these will be kept to the shortest possible duration, in fact it's work you shouldn't even notice as most of the work will be carried out at your local telephone exchange overnight.
