The Siemens HiPath range of systems shares the same software, handsets and features etc. The only difference being in the actual system capacity (i.e. the amount of extension and trunk ports the system can handle). Siemens HiPath ranges in size from 12 to 500 users.
The Siemens HiPath BizIP is the ideal IP system for the smaller business. Ideal for 10 users, however can cater for up to 16 users, 4 channels of ISDN2e and SIP trunk connectivity. The self configuring handsets simply plug into your existing LAN. It also comes with voicemail as standard. The Siemens HiPath 2000 is a pure IP communications system with an open Linux based architecture. The HiPath 2020 caters for 20 IP ports, 4 channels of ISDN2e and SIP trunk connectivity. The HiPath 2030 caters for 30 IP ports, integral voicemail, 8 channels of ISDN2e and SIP trunk connectivity. Both models have a 4 port LAN switch for direct connectivity or branching in to the existing LAN structure.
The HiPath 3000 Converged IP system can provide up to 500 work points as a standalone system. Up to 32 HiPath 3000 systems can be networked and managed as a single system when used in conjunction with the HiPath 5000 Real-time Services Manager.
The Siemens HiPath 3300 (rack mounted) and 3350 (wall mounted) are similar systems. However, the 3350 has a maximum of 36 analogue, 24 digital and 96 IP users whilst the 3300 has 20 analogue, 24 digital and 96 IP users. They can cater for a mix of ISDN2 and analogue trunk lines together with digital & analogue extensions.
The Siemens HiPath 3500 (rack mounted) and the 3550 (wall mounted) are similar systems. However, the 3550 has a maximum of 96 analogue, 72 digital and 192 IP users whilst the 3500 has 44 analogue, 48 digital and 192 IP users. Both can cater for ISDN30, ISDN2 and analogue lines.
The Siemens HiPath 3800 is a large system that can cater for up to 500 users. It may be floor mounted or mounted in a 19 inch rack. It may also be deployed as a stand alone gateway for interworking with competitive and legacy systems or as a survivable media gateway in larger real-time IP systems.

The optiPoint 500 range of telephones are part of a versatile range of accessories, and range from entry-level (8 function keys and a loudspeaker) to advanced (19 function keys, hands free, optiGuide navigation keys, headset port, and USB interface). In addition to the optiPoint telephones, optiPoint adaptors are available for interfacing with additional phones, modems, faxes, and external loudspeakers amongst other add ons.
